Is 1.5cm dilation at 22 weeks pregnancy is Cervical incompetency? Usually heard that cervical dilation at 20-50mm is incompetent. What is true?

Controversial topic: Premature cervical changes (dilatation, shortening, funneling, softening...) are difficult to measure and to interpret. I didn't know I was pregnant until late. My first ultrasound was told was 24 weeks preg. How possible is it that's wrong & I was 22 weeks preg?

Twenty-two weeks would be just past the half-way point, i.e., at about the 5th month mark of a 9 month pregnancy. ...Read more
