I'm 20, 5'6, weight 140lbs, i workout, and i want my abs to show (reach less then 10% body fat). What is a good diet for that (an idea at least)?

Start low go slow: Begin a light schedule under supervision and proceed gradually. Perhaps your doctor will give you a prescription for physical therapy. Both: I have never seen the show but i can guarantee it is mostly drama with an element of truth. Most medical professionals spend a great deal of time doing paperwork and administrative tasks. A show about real doctors and students might be incrediblyl boring. ...Read more
Why, when gals don' feel 'cuddly', or can't stand being in the room w/ their baby (as on the doctors tv show) are they not prescribed oxytocin? Ali
Good thought: Synthetic oxytocin, pitocin, is only used intravenously to help with labor. The new mom should be making plenty of her own oxytocin. Being a new mom, and not getting enough sleep, can make it difficult to bond with a baby at first. This will come with time. If her feelings are intense, and do not improve, she should be seen by her doctor to see if she has postpartum depression. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Pneumonia: Specifically caused by a bug called legionella. Caused a big scare in the late 70s early 80s when people at legionaire's convention got sick (some died: http://tinyurl.Com/5j7voq). It was feared that this was a very virulent bug, and while it can make you quite sick, most who die from it have serious underlying illness (emphysema, or heart failure) and antibiotics usually work. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I saw a medical tv show about urine. I decided to taste mine, it tastes like onions? Can anybody tell me why my urine tastes like onions??
Urine taste: Urine is the product of our kidneys, which filters out impurities and other excesses that our body will not use. Certain metabolic conditions can change the odor, and possibly taste of urine, but your experience is likely the result of your recent dietary intake. If you are otherwise healthy, it would be highly unlikely that you have a metabolic condition. ...Read more

Break the TV-Joking!: Explore what else in life you are involved in and what is meaningful which would take time away from the tv. Develop other hobbies , interests, friendships, volunteer work. I am reluctant to say internet because that is to much like tv, i.e. You and an inanimate object. Naturally therapy if you just cannot shake it. Last resort maybe form a tv club! at least you won't be alone! ...Read more

Why do I see tv shows with real doctors in the or with hair and earrings sticking out? We didn't used to do that.
Not reality: Medical personnel on tv (and movies) are projecting an image which is not necessarily reality. Actors want to be seen in an individualized way that can lead to further acting work and an identity recognized by the public. Nice hair, body jewelry, even tattoos can project that image. Unfortunately the image of the invincible physician has created a climate for malpractice for actual doctors. ...Read more
