What's the best way to get back on track? Had gastric bypass in 2004 lost 140 lbs but gained back 100lbs. Should i just do shakes? Bmi is 49.7.

Weight loss : You may have lost weight on this diet and it may have worked for you ! I don't think it is healthy , because you are missing out on nutrients , because you are eating such low volume of food . Unless you are taking some high powered organic , food supplements , I believe , long term side effects would be hair loss , brittle nails , saggy skin . Rethink this concept . Ask your surgeon: It is probably ok to eat pickles 2 weeks prior to your bypass. However, every surgeon has their own protocol and sometimes can be very particular about it.
