2 Month Old Breastfeeding Schedule
Is it ok if 2 month old baby is on 100 % on nan pro 1 or should we force the baby on breastfeeding?
Depends on Values: There are various health benefits for exclusively breastfeeding your child but there are many parents that decide to use formula instead. Ultimately you have to decide whats right for you and your baby. While breastfeeding is preferred, your baby will do fine on formula feeding if that is what you decide. My 2 month old daughter is drinking 1 oz at a time ever 2 hours and no breastfeeding. She tickle cough 5-6 times a day.is it normal or need to worry?
Calories taken in: are ounces of formula times 20 calories per ounce so she is taking 12 ounces which represents 240 calories. Assuming she weighs about 3 kg her caloric intake is about 80 calories per kg per day which is ok. A tickle type cough is nothing to be worried about. Better still is to see how many wet diapers she has in a day. If at least five then she is getting adequate fluids. ...Read more
Stay away: A lot of herbal tea ingredients aren't recommended due to unknown effects. I'm sure the occasional bit of tea isn't any harm at all but I wouldn't drink them constantly without confirmation from your pediatrician and just stick to straight black or green tea. My 3 1/2 month old breast feed baby is not pooping for 4 days now, but seems ok. I'm worried about what's causing it?
Don't worry: Some babies poop 5-6 times daily at this age, others poop once every 7-10 days. Both, and everything in between is normal. Provided they are eating well, not vomiting consistently, not developing a distended abdomen, urinating 5-6 times daily, otherwise acting normally, and the stool is not hard....This is nothing to worry about. If unsure, ask your pediatrician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
