18 Inches Of Pain
How tall will I be when i'm fully grown? I just turned 18 and I think I gained 1/4 inch last year.
I'm close to 5'7. Turned 18 4 months ago, grown about an inch in last 8 months, am I still growing?
Difficult to tell.: But at 18, you have probably reached your full adult height. If you had delayed puberty and only recently started having a growth spurt, then you MIGHT grow a bit taller. Best advice is to be happy with whatever height you become and OWN it. If you are truly worried about it, you may see a doctor who can evaluate your development and determine better. healthtap.com/saurbornmd ...Read more

BONE AGE: you probably may have finished growing, however, your pediatrician is the best one to determine if there is any growth potential left. He can do a Xray of your hand called a BONE AGE, it will tell if there is any room for growth or if the bones have matured already. Good Luck ...Read more

Unlikely to happen: At eighteen your growth centers have likely closed ; little if any more growth is likely.Keep active ; a healthy diet but don't expect to grow much taller. If you want to know for sure an x-ray of your wrist ; hand can be analysed for bone maturity ; tell if the growth centers remain open to new growth. No special exercises, diet or meds will make a difference if your growth centers are closed. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My son turned 18 on oct 6th. I'm concerned about his growth, and have mentioned it to his dr. Regularly.
He is 67 inches tall and weight is at 125.?
Parental stature: The expected height of any male is about 2.5 inches more than the average of his parents height. If your kid seems short of your expectations you can have an evaluation of the remaining growth potential. A single x-ray of the left hand & wrist is evaluated for the level of bone maturity/remaining growth potential. If the grown centers have fused ( become adult in appearance) your son is done growing. ...Read more
May be too late but: I am sorry to tell you that most men stop growing around age 18- but occasionally some will grow until age 21 or so. Taking measures to increase your production of growth hormone might help, but if your growth plates have closed (like most 18 yo's) then you've reached your max.
