Too simplistic: As you lift and gain muscle, your weight is likely to rise (muscle weighs more than fat), so there is no way of predicting how much overall weight you need to lose in order to reduce your body fat. Lean,Mean,Machine: NO! You need to recover for at least a day, 2 or 3 would be better. And in-between do other physical activities. Plus, do it too much and you might burn-out on it. That would be a shame. Also, you may not get the weight reduction results you want because of the possible increase in muscle mass, but the fat will decrease if you keep it up... Walking: 30 minutes of daily exercise is probably better than 1-2 hours occasionally. However, walking really won't do much for you. 30 min of real cardio exercise that gets you to maintain a target heart rate for 20-30 min is very effective for weight loss. Walking doesn't get you anywhere near this. You don't need to do 1-2 hrs or cardio either. Just 20-30 min daily will be great. ...Read more
