Yes: Yes there is nothing wrong with eating pineapple during pregnancy. Fruits and vegetables in general are good things to eat in pregnancy. I would just advise that if you're going to eat the skin of the fruit (like an apple) then wash it first. A pineapple's skin is removed so it's even more protected. ...Read more

Too soon to test: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

Check Thyroid: I would definitely have your thyroid evaluated if weight loss proves difficult. Post partum is a common time for thyroid problems to crop up. If it's normal, then you just have to go back to basics, 10k steps a day ( four miles) water, fruits and veggies. Long walks with the baby stroller are helpful. Think about a jogging stroller.
