8wks pregnant.wake up @5am everyday.horrible nausea&gagging w/ dry heaving all day until I eat but I get hunger pains even after I eat.why?Please help
Contact your OB!: There are treatments available for your nausea etc. that are safe during pregnancy, but only with your OB's knowledge & consent. Waking up middle of night from hunger pains eat well all day and before bed nausea recently started not pregnant help can't handle this anymore?
Eat frequent: Frequent small meals are the best. Make sure to have some fat and protein if you can.... even if you're craving carbs. The carbs bring that blood sugar up and then down quickly and that can cause both nausea and hunger pains. Yes: Weight gain early in pregnancy is not and should not be the issue so many people want to make it into. As long as you are eating regularly, taking in good quality food in reasonable quantities and taking a multivitamin (prenatal), i would not worry about weight gain.
