Pregnancy headaches : Hormonal changes are the usual culprit for pregnancy headaches in the first trimester. Eat small frequent meals, get rest (but not too much), avoid fluorescent lights, stuffy rooms, and windowless rooms. Avoid noisy places. Nasal spray and humidifiers may help if congested. Acetaminophen is ok but not ibuprofen or aspirin. Check with your OB before taking any medicine however. ...Read more

Both normal: Your headaches are probably tension related. Your dizziness is probably ortho static hypotension, normal in healthy pregnancy. Keep up with hydration with water or thin tea to help with both symptoms (but not juice, soft drinks, or sport drinks). ...Read more

Yes: In pregnancy there is always a concern if a woman has a headache and high blood pressure. You might want to go to urgent care and have your blood pressure evaluated to make sure there aren't any signs of early preeclampsia . It's still quite early at 14 weeks so hopefully this is just a headache, but it's better to be safe. ...Read more
