I had ultrasound on 01/20/14, with the baby measuring at 4.8 cm, is this accurate for a dating of 11weeks 4 days fetus?
Yes: Average length at this gestational age would be 4.1 to 5.4, so your baby definitely falls within that range. Good luck! ...Read more
Is a beta of 1684 okay for a 4 week 2 day pregnancy saw gestational sac just on transvaginal ultrasound ?
Maybe.: It sounds within the normal range but their are charts to compare age and normal bHCG levels that I don't currently have reference to. If your doctor or US tech wasn't concerned then you shouldn't be either. If you are bleeding or concerned about miscarriage, see your doctor/provider immediately. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Mm or cm: I'm assuming you mean 66 mm or 6cm, which is consistent with 12-13 weeks. The us machine usually has pre loaded numbers to calculate the exact weeks and days based on the tech usually taking a couple measurements and getting the average. But that does sound correct. ...Read more
Throughout pregnancy baby has measured small on ultrasound. Now 34 weeks measuring 60th percentile. Why might this be? Scared of having a large baby!
You and dad: Your baby's size is determined mostly by your and dads genetic codes and how they interact. Being 60th percentile means being right in the middle of the pack - this is good news ! I suggest you talk to your OB and ask them the same questions, it's important ! ...Read more

Just had my 20 week scan, nuchal fold measured at 6.4 mm, and the doctor saw a choroid plexus cyst. Should we be worried. First trimester negative.
Choroid plexus cyst: The finding of a choroid plexus cyst in ultrasound scans in pregnancy is very common and most resolve over time. Not likely: A 7-8 week vaginal sono should be within a week of the actual date of conception plus 2 weeks. The gestational age is expressed as weeks since last menstrual period (lmp) and assumes conception 2 weeks later. If you are 4 weeks less than expected you conceived one cycle later. Due date is an estimate of 40 weeks since the lmp and assumes you will carry full term and not be late or preterm. ...Read more
