I have 2 ovarian cysts (one in each, both about 1.2 cm?) and recently I've been really nauseous and in pain. Should I be worried?

See your Ob/Gyn: Ovarian cysts measuring 1.2cm are usually a normal finding. However, its not normal to be nauseated and in pain. These symptoms probably are not a result of the ovarian cysts but should be explored by your Ob/Gyn. You may need more tests and an exam. Best wishes! ...Read more

Can an ovarian cyst of this size (10 cm), eventually resolve itself?

Can an ovarian cyst of this size (10 cm), eventually resolve itself?

EXTREMELY unlikely: I would almost say 100% no. That size of a cyst is too large to resolve itself, and should be removed surgically, due to the risks of it being a tumor (need to rule out malignancy) and due to the risk of torsion (where the ovary twists around it's artery and vein, cuts off the blood supply to it and causes severe pain). Sorry, but you really need to have surgery to remove it. ...Read more
