See pediatrician: If tylenol (acetaminophen) doesn't lower temp by itself w/i hour or so, try alternating tylenol (acetaminophen) with infant's advil every 4 hours and also use luke-warm (tepid) bath to lower temp. Infant should be seen by peds to check for & treat any serious infections or rxn to recent immunization. Keep infant hydrated with plenty of fluids. You would know: Of the three, diphtheria can produce toxins that affect your heart, but you would know that by now. Scarlet fever is just an alternate form of strep throat & only 1/200 develop rheumatic fever, which you would also know by now. German measles is a minor illness in kids of little importance. Hopefully : This is just from her colds and most likely suffer from allergies causing boggy turbinates affecting your sense of smell. Need to take decongestant histamines or allergy meds and nose sprays which your doctor can prescribe. Need to take it daily! otherwise it is not going to help you.
