10 Month Old Baby Crying For No Reason
How long can I leave my 2-month-old baby crying without hurting her vocal cord? When cries her face's all red and looks as if she's suffocating?
Too young for crying: A 2-month-old baby is still too young to be left crying. Parents should still do all the things they need to do to console the young baby. They should be sure the baby is not too hungry, not too full, not too cold, not too hot, not sick, not wrapped too tightly, and not too lonely. After the baby turns 3 months, parents can start stricter "bedtime" routines, as by then, most babies can be trained. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

While he may get agitated by the car seat's restrictive environment, his safety in the car is paramount for him to be transported in any other way in the car. We have a month old infant who is gassy. We do our best to aggresively make him burp but within an hour after feed, he gets up crying from gas pain. Are there any other remedies?
Some possibilities: Babies swallow air- when they eat, suck or cry. During feedings, try to burp him in between every ounce, or between nursing on each side. Hold him upright (on your shoulder) for 15-20 minutes after feedings to help allow the air to rise up and escape, and not get trapped under the milk. Try a lactose free formula. Try simethicone (gas drops for infants). Check with your doctor if this continues. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
