Period one day late. Negative pregnancy test that said it could detect up to 5 days before missed period.?

Was expecting period but it only lasted one day and then just brownish spotting. Negative pregnancy test. Why did i only bleed for a day?

Was expecting period but it only lasted one day and then just brownish spotting. Negative pregnancy test. Why did i only bleed for a day?

Thin uterine lining: Amount of bleeding depends on how much tissue there is to shed. If you are thin, smoke and excercise a lot your lining will be thin (or if you take hormone therapy as birth control). If you do take birthcontrol it is very common to have a short, or even no period. If you are not on birthcontrol make sure you do get your period every 4-6 weeks; if no period at all for 3-4 months see your doc. ...Read more

If it's positive, it's a clear indication of pregnancy. If it's negative, you could still be pregnant. The urine specimen may be too diluted, the embryo not viable, the test done too soon or the pregnancy ectopic. See your doctor! ...Read more
