Three day late period brownish and pinkish discharge negative pregnancy test (bought the $1 ones)?

Not sure: You might want to try a different test if you are not sure. The other option would we to see your MD and check a blood test. It may just be that you had a delay in ovulation, and that you period may come a little later than usual. If you haven't started in a week and you test is negative, you may want to check with your MD.

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Hi, I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend two day or a day before her periods and then she got a one day period, and negative pregnancy test.

Sex: She should be OK but unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy at any time. If she misses a period please do another pregnancy test or use Plan B after sex

Period one day late. Negative pregnancy test that said it could detect up to 5 days before missed period.?

Period one day late. Negative pregnancy test that said it could detect up to 5 days before missed period.?

Stress or worry?: Stress and worry can lead to late or missed period as your adrenal glands need cortisol to get you thru stress and they "steal" Progesterone from your female cycle which can affect timing and regularity. I can't tell you not to worry but I would suggest repeating test in a few days and then using reliable contraception on a regular basis to remove worry. Stress is bad for your health!

Itchy and sore breasts 1 day late on period but negative pregnancy test?

Itchy and sore breasts 1 day late on period but negative pregnancy test?

False negative: Is still a possibility that you are pregnant. At this point the levels of hormone might be too lownformthebtest to detect. Repeat 7-10 days after missed period.

I had a very light one day period the beginning of the month I haven't started again since or had any symptoms. Also negative pregnancy test.?

I had a very light one day period the beginning of the month I haven't started again since or had any symptoms. Also negative pregnancy test.?

Light period: The main reason for light periods is change in hormone levels. Causes for what seems to be a light period can include: thyroid problems, eating disorders, excessive exercise, initial periods for a girl, use of an intrauterine device, oral contraceptives, perimenopause & implantation bleeding in early pregnancy which rarely occurs.

Day late on period. Brown dis charge one time today. Negative pregnancy test. Always use protection.

Pregnancy unlikely: If you always use protection, you are not likely to be pregnant. If you do not get your regular period during the next five days, you may wish to repeat a home pregnancy test.Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully.

One day late for my period, got a negative pregnancy test, took plan be 25 days ago??

Plan B: You are not pregnant. Plan B changes, interferes with, and wreaks havoc on the menstrual cycle for up to two months

What's wrong with me? Last month my period was one day and this month its over a week late but got three negative pregnancy test results.

Irregular/ late: If you are not pregnant, other causes of missed/irregular periods include: an anovulatory cycle in which no egg is released, marked v or ^ in weight; eating disorder; Over-exercising (endurance athletics), stress, travel, significant illnesses, oral contraceptives & other meds, Illegal drug use, breast feeding, hormone imbalances and medical problems (i.e., PCOS). Pregnancy is #1 reason.

Was expecting period but it only lasted one day and then just brownish spotting. Negative pregnancy test. Why did I only bleed for a day?

Was expecting period but it only lasted one day and then just brownish spotting. Negative pregnancy test. Why did I only bleed for a day?

Thin uterine lining: Amount of bleeding depends on how much tissue there is to shed. If you are thin, smoke and excercise a lot your lining will be thin (or if you take hormone therapy as birth control). If you do take birthcontrol it is very common to have a short, or even no period. If you are not on birthcontrol make sure you do get your period every 4-6 weeks; if no period at all for 3-4 months see your doc.

One day period that lasted less than 24 hours with no cramps. Negative pregnancy test taken immediately after that day. What could be going on?

One day period that lasted less than 24 hours with no cramps. Negative pregnancy test taken immediately after that day. What could be going on?

Normal menstrual: Variation. The amount and duration of a menstrual period is highly variable and depends on hormonal fluctuations. Stress, illness, medication, travel, etc. All can affect. In many cases a short period may be followed by a short cycle (period comes a bit early next month) or longer period with more bleeding next cycle. I would also repeat the pregnancy test in a week if no still no bleeding.

I am one day late on my period. This cycle I took Clomid (clomiphene) 50mg. I have gotten a negative pregnancy test. I ovulated late. Could I still be pregnant?

Home pregnancy tests are very accurate.: They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  if you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

Late period by 4 days, negative pregnancy test, sore nipples, I am always regular, white odorless discharge one one day. What do I do?

Happen alot?: You will need to see your obgyn for an exam and testing. Depending on your age and fertility plans there are lots of treatment options. Birth control pills can regulate your cycle. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iuds can minimize your periods. The vaginal discharge will need to be evaluate by your doctor if it persists.

Missed one BC pill, late period, negative pregnancy test. Is it still possible I could be pregnant with a negative test?

Yes: It is possible to be pregnant with a negative test if you took the test too early. Pregnancy test can be negative for 4 to 6 weeks depending on the test kit you used. Be safe and stop meds until you have a test by a healthcare professional. The timing from your missed period is very important.

Had unprotected sex in april. Period 31 days late and counting had negative pregnancy test 3 weeks ago. Should I take another one?

Had unprotected sex in april. Period 31 days late and counting had negative pregnancy test 3 weeks ago. Should I take another one?

Yes: Take another pregnancy test--if it is positive, you have your answer. If it is negative, then you are very unlikely to be pregnant--modern urine pregnancy tests are quite accurate (but not 100%); make sure you are having safe sex by using both good birth control (hormonal method or iud) and infection control (condoms); see your gyn to get more information and to get started.

I have had four negative pregnancy test and yet my period is four days late...I've never had a late one before. Could I be pregnant?

I have had four negative pregnancy test and yet my period is four days late...I've never had a late one before. Could I be pregnant?

Technique: If you did the test correctly at four days after missed period, it is unlikely that you are pregnant. You may take a blood test for HCG which is more sensitive and would be positive now if you are pregnant. Or, you could repeat the home test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
