A 33-year-old female asked:
I was wondering if there was a fertility procedure that was able to get sperm from a male taking testosterone?

Evaluation: First, an evaluation is needed to identify why testosterone is low such that it requires replacement. This may be then treatable with hormones to improve sperm count in certain situations. Some findings are not treatable though. Also, a male is taking testosterone, this reduces testicular preduction of sperm. A visit to a urologist specializing in male fertility would be helpful in this situation.
