Yes: The tissue is sensitive so it can get abrasions and irritations, so going forward you will know not to have too hard sex as the more times it becomes abraided the more chance for chronic irritation of the tissues and u may want to use lubrication.

A 21-year-old member asked:

After sex why does my vagina smell?

1 doctor answer3 doctors weighed in
Dr. Danny Proffitt
Family Medicine 43 years experience
Secretions: Depending on any chemicals used during sex (lubricants, etc) the smell is most likely just a "stirring" of the smells inside the vagina along with any ejaculate that may be present. Semen has a "smell" unto itself. If using a condom, they have their odor. If you are having a foul or offensive odor, perhaps you have a bacterial vaginosis. A fishy odor is usually bv. Get checked and get treated.

Swelling: The vaginal area, especially the labia, get swollen during the arousal phase and may persist for sometime after intercourse. If you are not well lubricated prior to the actual insertion, minor trauma from the condition may be the cause. If you are using lubricants or a condom , make sure you are not sensitive or allergic to them.

After sex I feel a burnin sensation in my vagina-what. Is wrong with me?

Dr. J. Yusuf Erskine

Irritation: The first step would be to recommend that you may only need to use more lubricant to avoid this sensation. This assumes that you 1.Do not have a low grade urinary tract infection; and also assumes 2 that you feel at ease in your relationship
A member asked:

Why does air come from my vagina during or after sex?

Dr. Michael Swor

Vaginal air bubbles: Sexual activity can sometimes cause air bubbles to collect in the vagina, which then are expelled during or after sex. It's not a problem and not unusual. Get your regular gyn checkup to be sure that is what it is.
