I was prescribed 1g of azithromycin for mycoplasma genitalium. its been 5 days since ive taken the medication. i feel theres been no improvement. what should i do ? how long will it take to cure the bacteria from the day of medication taken ?

Mycoplasma: Usually you shoudl feel improvement with Azitromycin within 48 hours, but this works for 10 days in the body. If not responded to the Azihromycin you will need course of Moxifloxacin. Was the Mycobacterium diagnosed clinically or with tests done?
