I was having sexual intercourse today and during that my penis bent to the left. i felt an immediate sharp pain in the left side of my perineum an hour later my left testicle is swollen. will this swelling go down or did i do further damage?

Get an exam: Definitely get an exam. You could have damaged one of the blood vessels, or even caused twisting of the testicle itself. This is an emergent scenario as a twisted testicle cannot untwist itself and could have its blood supply cut off.
