Itchy red and painful bumps on labia a couple days after shaving! some scabby and labia is slightly swollen. been about 6 days slight improvement! havent had sexual intercourse in over a year! what could this be?

Skin lesions: Seems to be infection of hair follicles that’s called folliculitis. Mild cases clear on their own. Keep the area clean and moisturized. Avoid shaving. If it is not better then please see a physician to determine whether oral antibiotics are needed or if there is need to drain some lesions.

Folliculitis : This symptoms you mention are concerning for folliculitis. It is normal, when the skin gets shaved that to have a folliculitis, this is an infection of the follicle where the hair grows. I recommend you to use an antibacterial cream until it gets better
