Dyspareunia: A common cause of dyspareunia: pelvic girdle instability caused by a unilateral sacroiliac joint (SIJ) subluxation. The missionary position evokes pain as the flexed, abducted, & externally rotated female femur torques the pelvic girdle & strains SIJ iliolumbar ligament. Spoon position with most pained hip superior, to float loose SIJ, might be more comfortable, as well as prove this bio-dynamic.
