Time to see your GYN: 10 days of menstruation can be normal, but if it continues heavy, you should see your GYN for an exam and advice on restarting your oral contraceptive. Use a secondary method (e.g. condom) until you are back on the pill.

Need exam: It may well be related to your oral contraceptive pills. Stopping them is a reasonable first step. But the only way to sort this out is to have an exam. You should schedule an appointment with your gynecologist or primary care provider at your earliest convenience.
