Clarify...: I'm going to try to be very clear as the ? is a little ambiguious.A girl can't become pregnant if she is not engaged in any sexual activity.Sperm meeting up with the egg is needed to get pregnant.NOW, to be clear - if a girl is sexually active, it is not "sex during her period" that is required. Sex around the time of ovulation when the egg is released leads to pregnancy. That timing can vary!

ODD WORDING: Your question is confusing. To be specific,pregnancy has been documented from intercourse on any day of a woman's cycle,including during menses.There are times when it is more likely for most. The "fertile window" is the estimated time for when an egg is released.But this is just an estimate.We know from experience that ovulation can happen at any time.
