Wait and find out: It is possible to still get pregnant even three days after ovulation b/c ovulation is difficult to predict and the egg can persist for a few days longer. If she doesn't have a period, get tested. If she does, then consider birth control so that this concern is not an issue. Consider emergency contraception in the future if you have unprotected sex.

Possible: Anytime live sperm enters the female reproductive tract, pregnancy can occur.

Simple test: Determining pregnancy from calculating ovulation dates is nothing more than guess work Urine for pregnancy tests for home use have become more reliable, especially in presence of early signs of pregnancy. The test can be repeated in 5-7 days and in case of doubt, confirmed with a more accurate blood test.

Its possible: Pregnancy is possible with intercourse around the time of ovulation. The chance of pregnancy in any given month of unprotected intercourse is 20-25%. If you don't want to get pregnant, you can take Plan-B within 72 hours of intercourse. It is available without a prescription at major pharmacies. Plan b is for emergencies. So if this relationship continues. Get on regular birth control.

Maybe: She is certainly at risk for pregnancy if a contraceptive method wasn't used. Since conception isn't a 100% certainly with intercourse, one can't say "if she is pregnant" but she was fertile when intercourse occurred, therefore the probability is increased.
Dr. Laura Anissian
Internal Medicine 21 years experience
Chance: There is chance of pregnancy of course but not a sure thing. Take a test about one week after expected cycle and you will know.
