A 23-year-old female asked:
How can you tell the difference between a clogged gland in the vaginal area vs. genital herpes ?

Vaginal sores: Usually herpes has associated burning pain with shallow ulcers--depressions or pits in the skin (often in crops), while a clogged gland is usually isolated, swollen and more tender to touch. Drainage and anti-biotics will relieve this while only time and anti-viral medication will help with herpes.
