No: The morning after pill which is otc may delay a little but will not stop it.

Amenorrhea: There are no over the counter drugs that will stop your menses. Under some circumtstances there are some drugs your Gynecolgist can use to create an amenorrheic state. Depo Lupron is the strongest but is not a long term medication. Many women who use Depo Provera, Mirena, or Nexplanon will stop having periods. An evaluation by your Gynecologist would be necessary before starting any medication

Concerned, yes: A late period may represent a early pregnancy. You should be concerned if contraception was not used and the potential pregnancy was unintended. The time to be "scared" is before a sexual event without contraceptive protection.

Many : Pregnancy, anovulation, peri-menopause, hormone manipulation (ocps, depo-provera, etc), premature ovarian failure (pof), stress, poly cystic ovaries (pco, stein-leventhal syndrome), prolonged follicular phase, or just a normal variant. It's normal to occasionally miss a period or have a delayed one. I hope that helps.

Multiple causes: Delayed cycles are usually due to delayed ovulation. This is most commonly caused by stress or underlying ovulation disorders. Pregnancy that is early and not detected is another reason. If delayed cycles are common for you, then ovulation disorder is likely and you should seek help because aside form fertility these issues also relate to chronic health in various ways and should be addressed.
