A 33-year-old member asked:

After a female has a sex change surgery, how big is the penis normally afterwards?

Dr. Robert Bennett
Urology 30 years experience
Transgender: There are very few ways of forming a satisfactory mail phallus with transgender surgery.
Dr. Richard Tholen
Plastic Surgery 41 years experience
F-M transgender: Most f-m transgender patients do not choose to have a neo-penis constructed. There is often significant donor site morbidity, and the result is neither realistic nor functional in virtually all aspects. Techniques are improving, but have a long way to go. M-f genital surgery, on the other hand, is highly advanced and often spectacularly successful (and functional) if performed by an expert!
