The vaccine, YES!: The hpv vaccine, or gardasil, is best known for its prevention of cervical cancers and cervical dysplasias. The hpv vaccine also protects against anal and rectal cancers, and is showing some promise in protection against esophageal and throat cancers that may be hpv related. It also offers protection against genital warts. So yes, get vaccinated!
