I have ovarian cysts its been many years and i have intense pelvic pain. im taking alesse(bc pills) and its giving pain on my left ovary. is it normal?

Not uncommon: Combined birth control pills, like Alesse, prevent ovulation, which can help suppress ovarian cyst formation, but are not always effective and preventing them completely. You may need something stronger, like Depo-Provera, or should be re-evauated to make sure pelvic pain is not due to other cause. In the meantime, Ibuprofen or Naproxen might help. Take Care.
