Normal side effects: for Depo-Provera provera (medroxyprogesterone) . Ectopic would be highly doubtful; however, consult your GYN for ultrasound or pregnancy blood test.

Doubtful: If you have taken you depo-provera on time during this period then low likelihood of pregnancy. Usually with an ectopic especially if leaks or ruptures there is abdominal pain. Hopefully you have had pelvic exams during this time and a problem could be found at that time. It is possible to also have positive pregnancy test with ectopic. See your doctor and express you concern. ? Get ultrasound.
