A 22-year-old female asked:

how do you reduce the number of outbreaks of herpes if you're already on suppressive treatment with anti virals?

Recurrent Herpes: Herpes simplex virus is a virus that causes oral cold sores and gential herpes. Once you've acquired it, the virus remains dormant in nerve cell bodies in the brain. It gets reactivated during stress and when immune system goes down. Other than using suppressive therapy, there is no other way to prevent it except for keeping yourself healthy and avoiding stress.

If contacted with the genital area it can go to the genital area as well but not very common.
