Confidentiality: You have the right to tell the medical office where to call your tests reports and who can be told. Most offices will offer this. There are federal laws and regulations as well. If you think that your personal medical information has been improperly disclosed talk to your doctor and the office staff.

Violates HIPPA: Your lab results and or the fact you had a test done are privileged information under the federal HIPPA laws. Disclosure without written authorization subjects the doc or clinic to fines. If you signed any document at that office the allowed them to communicate such information to a 3rd party ,you may have let them off the hook. You could file a complaint with the medical board or the feds.
