Isotretinoin is in my view the best thing since sliced bread for acne treatment. It is the only medicine for acne that gives you an 85% chance of never suffering from acne again!

The tetracycline class of medications are very good treatments for acne. However, the severity of acne will determine what may be the best option. Accutane can help almost anyone's acne but it is not without side effects. It should not be the first-line medicine for most acne patients.
