what does ring worms look like when they are going away?

It just fades: It is important to know that "ringworm" is a misnomer because the rash is not caused by a worm at all, but by a surface fungus called tinea corporis. After the fungus has been treated, the rash slowly becomes flatter and then the hyperpigmentation (dark skin) fades over time.
