Slit lamp exam: Doctors who have a slit lamp can diagnose herpetic eye infections. Here, that would include the ophthalmologists and er docs.

Need eye exam ASAP: Herpes of the eye can be a very serious problem. Symptoms can include redness , burning, itching of the eye. Tearing and blurry vision are also things to look for. If you think you have herpes of the eyes you need to see an ophthalmologist asap.
