No: It is only estrogen like premarin, (conjugated estrogens) it has no Progesterone like provera. Check with your doctor before changing medication.

Also, Vagifem is estradiol, and estrogen that is like your natural estrogen. Premarin is a type of estrogen derived from horse's urine and includes several types of estrogen that are foreign to your body. Provera is a synthetic progestin, also not the same as the progesterone in your body. I agree that Premarin and Provera are for your whole body and Vagifem is specific for vaginal health.
