No!: Tsh stands for "thyroid stimulating hormone". It does exactly what it says; stimulates your thyroid to produce hormones! if your thyroid is not producing enough thyroid hormone, your TSH will go up. So a high TSH simply means you have an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism). There are many conditions that cause this, and they are easily treatable. See your health provider!
