Yes: Essure is a procedure in which coils are placed in your tubes using a hysteroscope (long, thin camera that is inserted into your uterus). Over the next 3 months, the coils incite an inflammatory reaction that scars the tubes and blocks them. It does not affect ovulation. It simply prevents a meeting of egg and sperm.
