what antibiotics can breastfeeding mom take for toothache?

See your dentist: Antibiotics only temporarily treat the symptoms and not the cause. A dentist will treat the cause (filling, root canal treatment or tooth extraction are a few of the possible treatment options). See your dentist asap to try to reduce the severity of your problem.

See your doctor: Generally it is not recommended to take any medication while you are peragnent unless its absolutely necessary . You need to ask your obgyn.

Antibiotics: I will usually prescribe Amoxicillin for a breast feeding mother if not allergic to penicillin. Best thing to do though is to address the cause of the toothache and eliminate the pain.
