Not really: Just make sure you get plenty of water to drink so that your kidneys get "flushed out".

12-15 hours per day: On average, an infant will sleep roughly 12-15 hours per day. For most babies, that will be a combination of 10-12 hours at night and 2-4 hours of napping throughout the day.

A 32-year-old member asked:

Should I take a daily aspirin to prevent stroke?

2 doctor answers4 doctors weighed in
Dr. Danny Proffitt
Family Medicine 43 years experience
Depends: This should be discussed with your pcp. You may have risks that place your at high risk and need for asa or you may have other risks that would preclude your from being on aspirin. Not everyone is amenable to aspirin. Aspirin can have serious side effects. Your medications would dictate this too (or not). Be safe and discuss with your pcp/cardiologist/neurologit or other health care giver.
A 43-year-old member asked:

Must my child eat a balanced diet every day?

Dr. James Ferguson
Pediatrics 46 years experience
Good luck trying: The balanced diet is an adult idea, & a good one to practice for your lifetime. However it is a bit impractical when you deal with kids. Breast milk is balanced, but get past weaning & you must deal with a kid with his/her own ideas about eating. I like to look on kids from the vantage point of a balanced week rather than meal or day. Before school age their brain directs their cravings & does ok.

A 39-year-old female asked:

My boyfriend & I are trying to get pregnant. I'm on Zoloft (sertraline) & my doc is having me get off it slowly; 1 pill every other day for a month & then 1 pill every 3rd day until gone. Does this sound reasonable?

Dr. Joan Kinlan

Yes, it's great.: It's best to taper off the zoloft (sertraline) and your doctor has an excellent plan.
