Probably: Most appetite suppressants are stimulants. Caffeine, for example, is a appetite suppressant, which helps in the short term but doesn't have long term data. Whether "organic" or not, most stimulants can cause your heat to race. In the end, organic or not, these drugs should only be taken under a doctor's supervision. Make sure your doctor knows what you are taking.
A 24-year-old member asked:

What are the best diet pills can be used for energy and appetite suppression?

Not very helpful: Over-the-counter diet pills decrease one's appetite a bit (they are related to stimulants). A person's desire to eat can be much stronger that a diet pill's power to decrease his appetite, so he will likely continue to eat too many calories. Also, diet pills don't increase one's desire to exercise. If something as simple as a diet pill actually worked, we would not have so much obesity in america.

I'm experiencing loss of appetite. What can I do?

Look for cause first: Appetite loss can be mental or physical or both. A good physical exam is the best place to start. You should look at your current circumstances to see if you are under more pressure than usual. Problems are not the only stressors, a new job, marriage or child can be very stressful. Any major change in life circumstances can be a cause of appetite loss. Are eating disorders in your family history?

Eat slower: Sometimes if you tend to eat fast, you swallow air, which can contribute to the growling. Also, make sure your food is well-chewed.
A 45-year-old member asked:

Is it common for sinus congestion to cause a decrease in appetite?

First, diagnosis: Sinus congestion is not as easy to diagnose by the patient as one might think. You may really have nasal congestion. And most causes of nasal congestion are viral infections. Therefore, it is very likely that the overall symptoms of a viral infection may lead to a decrease in appetite. The course of these infections is 7-10 days. If longer, consult you physician.
