is there a good cure for chilblains?

No cure, but...: ...Lots of prevention. Keep affected areas well insulated, don't overheat or overcool, keep dry, moisturize regularly, and exercise. And if you smoke, this is yet another reason to quit asap, because it constricts your blood vessels. If your chillblains occur on the toes, good fitting shoes are essential. Moisture is your enemy; keep affected areas dry as much as humanly possible.
