Diabetes mellitus: Isn't usually diagnosed off of 1 fasting blood sugar & 1 postprandial sugar alone. Cdc recommends: " it is currently recommended that subjects with single positive diagnostic tests should have a repeat positive test before the diagnosis is made."however, you may well be diabetic. Please see your dr for eval. In the meantime this may be helpful for you: http://www.Cdc.Gov/diabetes/news/class.Htm.

Blood sugar: When was that blood sugar measured? If that was fasting, then it is too high. A fasting glu of 126 or more is diabetes. If that sugar of 130 was after a meal, then it is hard to interpret. Get a fasting sugar, or an a1c. And while you're at it, maybe your doctor should check bp, cholesterol, and some other things.

You have Diabetes: Nope. I am sure the doctor who ordered the test has already told you what this means. You have diabetes. You need to get back to the doctor to learn what to do next.
