Offer fluids: Viral illnesses suppress appetite. Put clear liquids with flavor in freezer to make it a slush and offer it. Can also use popsicles. It is most important to keep up fluids to keep hydrated.
Dr. Daniel Kessler

Fever: Make sure your child is hydrated. You can alternate tylenol (acetaminophen) and Motrin for fever. Do call your doc and make sure your child gets properly evaluated.
