I've been very sick since february so have left chronic vaginitis untreated. is there any harm in that?

Vaginitis: Not sure what kind of vaginitis you are referring to. Any infection left untreated is not good but some could be worse than others. See doc to get it treated.

Seek treatment: Depending on your symptoms and the actual cause of your vaginitis, you might have no long term issues. It is most important to rule out chlamydia, as this can have long term affects if undetected. My advice is make some time to see a provider to determine what is going on.

Possibly: There are a lot of different causes of vaginitis - which means inflammation/irritation in the vagina. Some of those causes (for example autoimmune causes such as lichen sclerosis)can, over time, cause harm. Other causes (for example yeast/fungus) generally wont cause harm but certainly can be bothersome. Worth getting it checked.
