Oily scalp: Some people have more oily scalps than others but they don't necessarily lose more hair than people with other types of hair. If you do have skin lesions and oily scalp, then this needs to be addressed as some develop seborrheic dermatitis that can cause hair loss.

Oily hair and loss: Not really. Occasionally greasy hair can be seen with b complex deficiencies but does not cause hair loss per se. Some people can have both as hair loss can have genetic, nutritional or metabolic-toxic reasons.
