Individualized diet: Nowadays we realize there is no one path that works for everyone as we are biochemically unique. For starters, i would create an elimination diet where you see which foods your body does not agree with and eliminate them. Also, don't drink your calories. Only drink water if possible. Lastly, you need to avoid all processed food as there is evidence that these can disrupt your metabolism. Good luck.

Healthy food: I agree with dr. Kessler about finding which foods your body does poorly on. Many have trouble with gluten, soy, eggs, dairy, peanuts, corn, etc -- and along with sugars ; artificial sweeteners, these can lead to weight gain if your body is sensitive to them. In the real world: plenty of lean proteins, veggies, complex carbs, and healthy fats (avocado, olive oil, omega 3's). Berries, apples, etc.
