I have suffered with back pain for years and now i get a throbbing pain in the back of my right leg just above the knee when I am driving?

Radiculopathy: When a stable back pain started to change its nature , it is necessary to see your pcp as soon as possible since it is an indicative of nerve compression or irritation. The exact nature your condition should be evaluated by thorough history , physical examination and possibly mri. Good luck.
