Patient, be patient: Get info & help from surgeon - report bleeding. Ask for help to reduce dry heaves - any irritation in throat area is to be avoided if possible. Usually pain meds are stopped at 10 days, but you may hurt longer - protect scabs - they protect you. Drink water as much as you can - enjoy smoothies, ice-cream.
