How soon after micro fracture knee surgery can you generally return to school?

Depends: This is dependent on a few things. If you have to drive yourself, you have to discontinue your narcotic pain medication. If your right knee is the one operated on, you must get clearance from your physician to drive. As long as school accommodates your change in weight bearing status you may return as soon as you feel ready.

Micro fracture: You should be able to return to school on crutches, nonweigtbearing, whenever you are comfortable getting about.
