Yes: Scars don't ever disappear entirely over time, but they do diminish. If you're referring to a scar on the outside of the chest, they, at best, heal to a medium-thick white line.

Scarring by : Definition is healthy tissue/muscle that has been damaged & replaced with fibrosis due to lack of blood flow.
